Project Overview
The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House is envisioned as a cultural landmark and vibrant civic hub in the heart of Saigon. Inspired by the spirit of Vietnam’s youth, the building celebrates creativity, community, and the city’s continuing journey toward innovation and cultural progress.
Cultural & Historical Context
Located near the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and major university campuses, the project site carries historical significance as a place of civic expression and youth activity across generations.
Architectural Concept
The building reinterprets Vietnamese cultural symbols in a contemporary language. Its three main volumes resemble stylized lotus petals—representing unity and purity—while a central torch-like spire symbolizes resilience and aspiration.
