The new tourism symbol of Vietnam is the Kiss Bridge in Sunset Town, Southern Phu Quoc. It combines Michelangelo’s “”The Creation of Adam”” with the Vietnamese love narrative of Nguu Lang Chuc Nu, which was created by architect Marco Casamonti. It stands for the merging of Vietnamese culture and international talent and is situated on Phu Quoc’s Pearl Island.
The bridge’s architecture is a stunning display of irregularity and asymmetry that embraces its distinctive identity. With a sinuous arc that introduces different heights and broad vistas from various points throughout its course, it gracefully follows the natural landscape. The bridge slowly rises to a peak of 3.65 meters after starting at the promenade close to a 3-meter-high breakwater, painstakingly coordinated with ground elevation data.
Notably, the “”Photo Bridge – Marriage Proposal”” is located where the curved walkway meets the water. It is situated at a height of 7.72 meters and acts as a picturesque viewing platform, catching breathtaking views of the “”Kissing Point”” and allowing buggy access. The Photo Bridge, as opposed to the 16-meter-high Marriage Proposal part, maintains a height of 9 meters for both practicality and wave safety.
